I'm going to use some of the TRUE names of the YouTube spam bots as character names for this short story. 🤣😂🤭

Nora Lewis had just lost her job because the gourmet hotdog, pizza & burger joint (named PizzBurDogz), where she worked at, got shut down due to losing business because her (now) former boss, Ethan Reeves, is on life support after complications from taking the 2nd dose of the COVID-19 Johnson & Johnson vaccine. The Reeves family decided to shut down the business, while they were waiting on a decision on whether or not to pull the plug. Nora struggled to find another job, but had no luck. Subsequently, she was forced to use her last paycheck on 1 night in a cheap motel & some food.
Before checking out of the motel at 11 AM that morning, she tried calling around at some women's shelters. Not much luck for single women with no children. So, she checked out of the motel & came across Richard Phillips, & his unrelated friend & roommate, Carey Marshall Phillips.
Carey was a brown-skinned, tall, skinny Black guy with a HUGE 'fro & lips that look like Bubble Yum. Richard was a short, chubby biracial guy. Richard had curly red hair & freckles. Richard was 1/2 Guyanese 1/2 Irish. Carey was emotionally sensitive, for a 25-year old man. He would easily get his heart broken. He had an opportunistic, dirty side, though. He was hoping to get Nora to live with him for free, in exchange for sexual favors. Richard had it in plan to drug Nora up & sit there & watch, while Carey has his way with her. Richard is cutthroat. Sex was 1 of the last things on Nora's mind.
Nora was scared. She was only 18 & fresh out of high school. Just turned 18. An only child. She never expected to be homeless before. She had a different last name from both of her parents, because she was born out of wedlock & had her mom's last name. & then her mom, Hilary Boone, got married to another man, named Ambrose Lester. Ambrose decided that Nora MUST leave & be on her own, once she turned 18.
Nora felt like she had no other option but to go & live with Richard & Carey. She stayed with them & tolerated their abuse for 4 months. Richard was drugging her up secretly, at first, but then she became hooked. She kept her living situation a secret from her mother & stepfather. She was too ashamed, embarrassed & scared. The drugs, of course, caused Nora to act dysfunctional, which caused her to not get along with them.
One day, when she was sober, she stood up to them & refused to have sex with them. As a result, they got angry & threw her out cold on the streets. She found a wooded area to go hide in the next night, not realizing that it was considered as "private property". When she tried to sneak & leave after waking up the next morning, she got caught by the police & arrested. Once she got out of jail, she had to go & live in a substance abuse shelter.
She disagreed with the substance abuse 12-step program (realizing how cult-like it is), & was court-ordered to go to Alcoholics Anonymous after becoming an underaged drinker & going to jail AGAIN!
Nora was NEVER in trouble like this, as a child. She could have had her whole life ahead of her! After awhile, she decided to clean her life up, but still rejected Jesus Christ. She went to her local Salvation Army shelter, & she realized that it was cult-like, as well. She didn't like the forced fake church services. She was young & ran away from anything & everything religious &/or controlling. Even relationships with controlling men.
Mandy Braxton was also a Salvation Army shelter resident, & she gave Nora the rundown on the King James Version Holy Bible, & how Christianity is SUPPOSED TO be! Mandy showed Nora a healthy, local Christian Church that was NOT sold out or 501(c)3. Mandy told her that they both could be allowed, by pastor Jacob Sherman, to live in their special church garage, where it's safe, until both women could get back on their feet.
After seeing the love of Jesus Christ by that church, Nora started to become a believer. God opened doors for her to find the Godly man of her dreams, & she became a housewife after marrying her new husband, Francis Hampton. She was his helpmeet, & they prayed a lot. They trusted God for all their needs. They ended up with 17 children together. 2 sets of twins!
