Wynona, an African American mother, has 8 biracial 1/2 Caucasian children. 4 daughters, Autumn, Winter, Spring & Summer, & 4 sons, Matthew, Mark, Luke & John. Matthew & Mark are a set of fraternal twins. Wynona's narcissistic mother-in-law, Elaine, called CPS on her, making a false report that she's on drugs & neglecting her children. Wynona's husband Kevin works offshore. What led to all of this happening, was when Elaine demanded to see the children, & Wynona didn't trust her. Wynona suspects that Elaine is a witch, doing witchcraft on the children every visit.
One day, randomly out of nowhere, CPS & the SWAT team kick the door down & kidnap all 8 children, while Kevin is at work. Wynona was devastated & horrified. She was in shock & covered her mouth while crying. The children were wrestling & crying, fighting to go back to their mother.
They ended up in separate foster homes. Even the twins. Each child had a different foster home to live in. Matthew was adopted, while Luke was bouncing around from group home to group home. When Kevin came home from work to find out this news & realized that his mother did it, he instantly dropped dead of a heart attack. Kevin was a momma's boy & couldn't handle such betrayal.
Wynona suffered years of agony & depression. She was court-ordered to see a psychiatrist & take medication. She was falsely accused of being an "unfit" parent. She dreaded every court date & lost custody & visitation rights. She would cry & vomit a lot. She lost a lot of weight. She didn't want to eat. Didn't want to get out of bed.
After each child aged out of foster care or adoption, they each had an abuse story to tell. They were mind controlled & messed up in the head. Winter's foster relatives kept trying to murder her. No one believed her. John had anger issues & ended up in & out of jail. Summer kept getting pregnant back to back. Spring's foster family used to starve her. Autumn kept being bullied for being mixed race. Luke was sex trafficked. Mark turned out to be a druggie. Matthew ended up with a severe mental disability that he wasn't even born with.
All of the children were devastated about not being able to say their last goodbyes to Kevin. Wynona & the children went on Oprah to tell their stories. After that, Winter was able to help her siblings & mother get a successful family business. They decided that they wouldn't let their unfortunate past hold them back.
Elaine ended up having cancer spread throughout her whole body, & she died not knowing that she had cancer. Hardly anyone went to her funeral. She was still doing evil on her death bed.
Wynona & her 8 children found out about Jesus & salvation, & then, reading the Bible & praying helped them understand why everything happened the way it did.
