Narcissistic Abusers & Gang Stalkers don't want me driving or having a car, & I'm 38 years old. I SO BADLY wish to get to drive & have a car again! It's been YEARS!

for this short story.

Arlo (15), Sire (16) & Vander (17) are 3 teenaged brothers who are each 11 months apart from each other. Their parents, Lark & Jonah, decided that it's time for them to start learning how to drive.

Lark calls all 3 boys into the kitchen a little earlier than their usual dinner time, after school & soccer practice & asks, "What do you boys think about taking driver's ed?"

All 3 brothers looked at each other with a nervous, uncomfortable expression, while Jonah was laughing hysterically & uncontrollably. They looked back at both parents, & Lark had a smirk (a deceitful-looking smile) on her face.

Jonah said, "Here's an idea. I'm going to enroll all 3 of you into driver's ed courses. Whoever scores the highest final grade gets his license & a brand new CAR. No van, no SUV, no truck, etc. & nothing luxury. We don't financially have it like that. Whoever comes in 2nd place gets his license, & gets to have grandma's old Oldsmobile fixed up, & then it's yours. Well, whoever is the loser has to ride his bike until after he's over 18 & moved out. Deal?"

There was a written test each day after each lesson. The boys would be competitive & jealous of each other. 1 day, they were having a heated argument because Sire accused Arlo of cheating on 1 of the tests. Arlo didn't cheat, but studied harder.

On the last driver's ed day of physical driving lessons, the youngest 1 got the highest grades. Sire straight up failed! He got angry & went into his bedroom, crying, throwing a tantrum & punching & throwing things. He angrily walked into the living room, DEMANDING to be "emancipated", so that he can live on his own at a younger age. His parents said, "No."

Jonah yelled, "Hey, cut that foolishness out! You can't get mad because you lost. Some things in life, you win. & some, you lose. It's not the end of the world!"

Jonah got his mother's Oldsmobile car fixed up, & he awarded it to Vander after Vander got his license. He awarded Arlo a brand new Toyota Corolla after he got his learners permit. What an insult, that Sire received a neon green girl's bike! Sire got bullied by his friends about that bike.

One day, Sire waited until after everyone was asleep, to set the bike on fire in the garage & then run away. Lark called 911, & she didn't realize that Sire had run away until after the fire was put out, & the firemen left. She filed a missing persons report, & then the cops found Sire. He was in mental distress, acting out. The cops threatened to taser him if he didn't calm down. He got arrested & charged with arson.

Arlo grew up to be a lawyer, while Vander became a mechanic. Sire ended up on drugs & in & out of prison.

I'm NOT a parent. But parents, don't create competition & jealousy between your kids. I know what it feels like to have that done to me as a child, with foster care abuse. This is a fictional short story illustrating narcissistic parents manipulating siblings to rival against each other. I believe that sibling rivalry is usually caused by parental favoritism & jealousy.

Ephesians 6:4

King James Version

4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

Colossians 3:21

“Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.”

King James Version (KJV)
