Stinky Buns

4-year old Marisol went with her dad, Misael to the library. They went to the children's section, & he let her pick out whatever book she wanted. She picked a book about rabbits. Misael sat her on his lap, & was teaching her how to read. Afterwards, he showed her a VHS videotape about how to care for bunnies.

When they arrived home, a mysterious bunny rabbit inside of a dog kennel was left at the doorstep. They didn't know who left it. Later on, it turns out that 1 of the librarians was secretly giving away bunny rabbits to 10 random different homes, along with a greeting card. How did Marisol's household get so lucky?

Once they got inside, Misael didn't know what to name the rabbit. Marisol asked why the bunny always silently sniffled so much. Misael laughed. He jokingly said, "Maybe the rabbit is always smelling something stinky. Like your armpits!" & they both laughed as he tickled her sweaty armpits. It was a hot summer day in Houston, TX.

Misael told Marisol, "Ok. Since you think the bunny always smells something funky, like your stinky armpits, let's call it 'Stinky Buns', since we don't know the gender".

Marisol said, "Can the rabbit eat cinnamon roll buns, too?"

He said, "No. They eat pellets."

She asked him, "Daddy. What would happen if we ate pellets? We need to go buy some pellets for the bunny rabbit & cinnamon roll buns for us."

He said, "Why? You must think the cinnamon roll sticky buns is gonna make you hop like a bunny rabbit from all that sugar, huh?"

Marisol asked her dad, "Papa. When the bunny rabbit gets bigger, is he going to talk like Bugs Bunny?"

He said, "Noooooooo! Rabbits can't talk!"

Later on, Misael found a secret stash of pellets & a container for the rabbit inside of the dog kennel. Misael started to say that she acts like Angelica from Rugrats.  Marisol enjoyed feeding Stinky Buns with her hands. She loved to pick it up & hold it. She said that she hopes that Stinky Buns would never die. Stinky Buns lived a long rabbit life.
