The Bingo Night Celebration

Linus brought his dog, "Bingo" to his father, Faris's birthday party. It was also the dog's birthday. (Yes, Faris & Bingo share the same birthday.) Faris loves to play Bingo on Wednesday during late nights after church service. He's a retired US Marines veteran. He wore his Semper Fi hat everywhere he went. Bingo wore a fitting hand-knitted hat that also said "Semper Fi, Doggo Edition".

Faris was receiving birthday gifts, while chitchatting at the bingo table & waiting for the cards & everything to be passed around. He was telling his bingo mate, Venetia, how edifying the church service was. Despite the bingo games being held during late nights, there was still coffee & other refreshments being served. Venetia joked about how edifying & bursting with flavor the gourmet lemon pistachio cream cheese danish tasted.

Clarice & Margie were the activity coordinators. The game began. But before the game began, everyone sang "Happy birthday" to both Faris & the dog. Linus was playing for the dog. Everyone kept getting mad because the dog kept winning seemingly all the games & winning all the prizes. Faris didn't win any games at all.

At one point, Margie joked that Linus should get rid of the dog & stop letting him play & win everything. Linus said, "I can't do that, because if Bingo has to quit, then Dad-Dad has to quit, & I don't want to ruin either one of their special days."

Margie said, "Fair enough! & then rolled her eyes."

Everyone laughed. They eventually found joy in letting Bingo win, if that was what would make both Bingo & Faris have a happy & fulfilling birthday.
