Narcissistic abusers LOVE to embarrass you in public. Then, they reverse it on you & lie, saying that you were the one who publicly humiliated them.
If you're going to the grocery store with a narcissistic parent, the parent would yell at you in public, unnecessarily, for no reason.
If you have a narcissistic boyfriend or husband, he'll wait until you're at a restaurant to start picking arguments & fights with you. He wouldn't wait until y'all got home.
I guess they do this to exert power & control over you. To make you feel trapped, cornered & helpless. Defenseless. So you can't fight back.
