Something I noticed here in Pensacola. I've been hearing about the covert racism in downtown Pensacola, ever since I moved here. + experienced it, myself.
Why are the Black restaurant employees usually the ones to do back of house (BOH) slave cooking & cleaning (to be unseen), while the White employees get to do front of house (FOH), & they get DAMN good tips?
& they'll put in 1 Black female hostess at FOH, to try to not let their racism look so obvious.
Usually the servers (waiters/waitresses) & hosts/hostesses are White employees.
The dishwashers & janitors are mainly Black people.
Sometimes, the line cooks could be either race.
