Is It Too Late To Conceive?

Sarah, a 45-year old African American female, never got around to having any children. Her busy adulthood life passed her by. She spent the majority of her adulthood life volunteering long term at a hospice.

Sarah & her best friend, Cassandra, met some friends in the food court of their local mall. Cassandra was at Sbarro's, trying to order spaghetti & meatballs when she noticed a little boy who she thought looked just like her. Red hair, freckles & all. They befriended the boy's mother because she was fascinated with him looking just like her (Cassandra). The boy actually looks like his father.

Cassandra was standing in line, waiting to order food when she turned to Sarah & asked, "Hey, Sarah. Doesn't that little boy look JUST LIKE me? He's just the cutest little thing." Sarah laughed & agreed.

They started hanging out with the boy's mother, which is how she met her husband, Carlos. Carlos always wanted a child of his own. He's also 45 years old. He has been disheartened for over 20 years because of a daughter who he thought was his, but she wasn't.

A friend helped Carlos come up with enough money to buy Sarah the fanciest engagement ring that money can buy. He proposed to her on her 45th birthday. Nearly a year & 1/2 later, they were married on Carlos's 47th birthday. Sarah was still 46.

Sarah thought she was too old. She & Carlos prayed & prayed to God every night for a new family. She started feeling pregnancy symptoms, so she took a pregnancy test. She was shown as being VERY MUCH pregnant. She couldn't believe her eyes. She booked an OB/GYN appointment, & the doctor confirmed it. She's having fraternal twin baby boys. She gave birth to Carlos Guillermo Sanchez, Jr. & his twin brother Cali Gonzalo. Cali was actually born 1st. The couple was astonished. They got more than they asked for & were overjoyed.
