It's Like A Distant Memory

Timberwood: Short Stories Edition - Vol. 27

There were some people who left the Timberwood cult & have been gone away for so long, that they forgot all about what it was like to be there. Indeed, it was like a distant memory. Some of the old head veterans who left became shocked about the new rules. Stuff that the cult leaders at the top didn't tolerate a decade ago, they were forced to let their guard down & be lenient with the rules because they felt threatened by so many people waking up to the truth & leaving. The parasitical leaders were desperate to gain & keep brainwashed, mind controlled, loyal members.

Back then, everyone had to meet the cult's standards of "perfection", which is contrary to Biblical, godly perfection. The cult wanted earthly, vain, tangible perfection that was according to the world's standards. Timberwood has become SO desperate for souls that they're now tolerating imperfections that they didn't used to tolerate before, such as poverty, disabilities, obesity, homelessness, injury scars, long hair & facial hair on men, short hair on women, piercings, tattoos & anything else. They no longer have a dress code required to join. They used to want everyone to meet "military-style" & "Hollyweird-style" standards of perfection. The "perfection" & refinement come after joining. You can be poor, homeless & dirty when you're new, but after some time (& after your new money starts rolling in) they expect for you to better yourself, get clean, stop doing drugs, etc. Back then, they used to reject you if you were a poor, homeless, dirty druggie.

Many of the members have become homeless & poor after leaving. That's a sacrifice they had to make. It was very hard to walk away from all that sex & money, but only a select few were strong enough to walk away from ALL desire! Some of them relapse & re-join. What a sad case!

Now, it's made to where you have to agree to sell your soul to Satan, in order to join the Timberwood cult. It's a sex slave trafficking cult, disguised as helping people try to improve & better their lives. Sadly, some of the newer members (& some of the old ones, too) have blindly sold their souls to the devil, trying to get out of a desperate situation, only to end up being trapped in something FAR WORSE! Some of the older members, who didn't sell out, are so grateful & so glad that they were able to leave the cult with their souls still intact.

The cult deceives people into thinking that once they join, there's NO WAY OUT. They manipulate the members into being SO addicted & so committed to the mind control prison that it's like, once you pop, you can't stop. Sadly, not all that many wise up, wake up to the truth & then flee. But there are a few who have broken the spell. The cult lies to people & tries to trap them with no way out. They force members to sign contracts & NDA's, making them forced to be in it for life! The leaders lie to the members, saying that there's no such thing as getting out.

Mr. Timothy Arcenaux called for a post-cult support group meeting. Everyone gathered near a pond. The meeting began with scripture reading, prayer & a little bit of Christian music, as usual.

There were some of the ones who declared themselves to be OUT! They spread the word about an escape plan for leaving the Timberwood cult. At this meeting, some of the recent members, who had just left, came to tell about what things have changed. They also talked about the new cult rules. The cult has a new rule, where people aren't allowed to use profanity or curse. There are some other new rules, as well. Such as, everyone is forced to wake up at 5 AM & go to bed at midnight. The fake "strict" rules apply to EVERYONE (including the adults). If you break a rule, then you're forced to be humiliated with getting whipped with a belt, paddle, shoe, etc. That corporal punishment.

After the quick Bible study, Mr. Tim asked a new member (Hanson, who had just joined & then saw through the 🐂💩 after 2 weeks, & felt helpless & trapped; he also recently left almost as soon as he joined.) what his short-lived experience was like. Hanson harped on talking so much about the rules & punishment. He talked about everything being so military-like. He explained that this mind felt so polluted & poisoned.

Some of the old head veterans, who were gone for over a decade, were shocked & surprised about what's currently tolerated, that the cult didn't tolerate back then. They felt like that's less abuse & punishment they would've had to suffer if xyz... was allowed back then. An old head veteran who recently left (who had been in the cult for over 30 years) named Jolene, elaborated on some harrowing details about how the cult has changed throughout the years. She admitted that she was addicted to the cult, the sex & the money, & that she was in a compromising position, which made her feel like she had no choice but to join, thinking it would better her life. She felt dumbfounded once she realized that she was heavily duped.

Another old head veteran, named Nicki, who had been out for 12 years, was taken aback by how the rules have changed. She looked at her guy crush & friend, Deezie, & they were chattering for a bit. He bursted out saying, "I forgot all about this rule & that rule. Man! Y'all are bringing back some MEMORIES!"

Mr. Tim agreed & said, "Everything seems like a distant memory for y'all, huh?"

Then everyone laughed. It's true. So true.

To conclude the meeting, Mr. Tim encouraged everyone to make the private decision to accept Jesus Christ into their hearts & pick up a King James Version Holy Bible. He gave them the option to choose between Jesus Christ & Timberwood. He reminded them about the scripture about serving 2 masters. Some people felt conflicted, while others wanted to make that decision to forsake the cult & live for Jesus Christ.
