Here's the short story.
Cop Gets Owned (Short Story)
It's Thursday. Trash day. Ruth, the neighbor from hell, is at it again. Naomi wakes up to the noise of Ruth dragging her trash bin across the street to dump trash. Ruth is dumping her trash into Naomi's bin, so that she doesn't have to pay the trash bill, which causes Naomi to have to pay more for trash & sewage. Naomi got upset, put on her robe & slippers, & ran downstairs & outside.
Naomi runs up to Ruth & says, "Not this again! You've done this for the umpteenth & LAST time! You pay for your OWN trash!"
The 2 women argue & have a scuffle. A push & shove match. The fight ends in Naomi finally getting the upper hand & putting her both of their trash into Ruth's bin just before the garbage truck passed by. The women both hurried up & moved out of the way. The dumpster truck driver had no idea what had just transpired.
Ruth, a narcissistic neighbor, used projection & called Naomi entitled, lazy & money-hungry. She called Naomi a "Karen" during the fight, when Ruth, herself, is the entitled, lazy, money-hungry, narcissistic fake Karen. Before Naomi knew it, she heard sirens. What lie did Ruth tell the cops? It's a mystery.
Ruth told such a big lie on Naomi that the cops came over in a flash. They were angrily yelling at Naomi to open the door & threatened to bust the door down. When she opened the door, there were 2 K-9 dogs, 12 cop cars + 4 helicopters. They were yelling, "Hands up! Get on the ground, NOW!"
Naomi was confused, traumatized & speechless. She nearly fainted. She said, "What did I do, officers? I didn't do anything wrong. I'm innocent."
1 of the officers, Officer Henderson, threatened to get the SWAT team for her if she didn't shut up & stop asking questions. He didn't give her a chance to explain herself, & he had her on the ground, handcuffing her. He rough handled her & threw her into the backseat of the police SUV twice. The 1st time, she slipped & fell out of the vehicle, so he threw her in there a 2nd time. She had a knot on her forehead with a little blood coming out.
Another neighbor, Tyler, was secretly filming them from his kitchen window the entire time. He overheard the initial commotion that Ruth & Naomi had. He was a victim of Ruth's antics a couple of times before. He became fed up & then stormed outside to give the cops a piece of his mind. He went to bat for & defended Naomi. He wasn't scared. He wasn't backing down.
Another officer, Officer Reddick, asked Tyler, "Did we give you permission to film us?"
Tyler responded, "Since when did I need a cop's permission to exercise my 1st amendment rights, sir?"
Officer Reddick got in his face & asked him, "What rights? You HAVE no rights! You're about to lose them because you're about to go to jail for obstructing a crime scene!"
Tyler told him, "Power trippin', huh? Did you wake up this morning & decide to become 'God'?"
Officer Reddick said, "I've always been God! Where have you been? You do as I say & put that phone camera away."
Tyler said, "I know you're a Luciferian Satanic New World Order worshipping pig! Remember that Bible scripture that says that we ought to obey God rather than men? John Knox said that resistance to tyranny is obedience to God. You're not God. You're a tyrant! You never died on the cross to save me from my sins. You need a savior, too. You better repent. You will be judged by the ONE TRUE GOD! Remember in the Bible where the Lord told Moses to tell Pharaoh, 'Let my people go, that they may serve me'?"
All the officers put their heads down in shame. They let Naomi go & told her, "You're innocent, queen. We're letting you go."
& afterwards, both Naomi & Tyler were allowed to explain what happened. Then the cops had no choice but to do their jobs properly & arrest Ruth. Ruth went to jail, & justice was finally served.
