Rita Roslyn Rodriguez Stanford secretly joined Timberwood behind her family's back, against their wishes. The family was not pleased. Her husband, Johnny, wasn't with it, her son, Cory, wasn't with it, & neither were her nieces & nephews, except for 1. All she cared about was, what she thought, was an easy life with quick money. She abandoned her nursing career, just to join the cult. Her family members felt like that was more proof that she was a fake Christian hypocrite, since Timberwood is ANY & EVERYTHING BUT godly! Many people consider her to be a religious narcissistic sociopath.
She basically recruited herself. Eager, anxious & enthusiastic. She didn't care about switching her mind & regretting joining. All she cared about was money, power & control. She will destroy her family, for the cult. & that, she did. In fact, she destroyed certain family members even before joining.
All of a sudden, Rita was rolling in with a LOT of money. She & her husband, Johnny, used to struggle to make rent & car payments & have food on the table. Rita used to shop at Walmart, Ross & thrift stores. Now, she's able to shop at Dillard's, Macy's, Foot Locker, etc. She secretly became the breadwinner of the house. She quit asking Johnny for 1/2 on the rent & other things. She was gone more often, & when she came home on certain nights, she wasn't talking to him as much.
One day, she showed up with a BRAND NEW gold Jeep. She got rid of that clunker Volvo that she used to have. Johnny got excited & said, "Ooh wee! Lemme take that baby for a spin! Where you got that from?"
Rita told him, "You're not taking ANYTHING for a spin! & it's none of your business where I got the Jeep!"
Johnny widened his eyes, paused & then asked her, "Rita. I know you ain't sleepin' around on me. Are you?"
She got all angry, combative & defensive. Guilty as all outdoors. She was basically cheating on him with the cult & had become MARRIED to it.
Rita backed herself into the corner & started fake crying. They started arguing back & forth. After some time went on, during the argument, Rita's nephew, Chris, popped up unexpectedly. He was also secretly in cahoots with his Aunt Rita. Their son, Cory secretly eavesdropped into the conversation. Cory was MAD AS HELL! Cory & Chris were about to fight. Mr. Johnny was trying to keep the peace.
Chris already needs anger management classes. He lost his temper, slammed the door & stormed out of there. He came back 20 minutes later, robotically repeating, "A man has needs! A man has needs!" Then, he walked out of the house again.
Cory & Johnny were both yelling at Rita about her & Chris joining Timberwood. Johnny called her out on leaving him to pay all the bills, while she was secretly making probably 10 times more money than he makes.
Rita vehemently denied joining Timberwood. She fake cried with NO tears, like she always does. Johnny yelled at her & said, "Get out! Get out of my house, NOW! You're no longer my wife. You sold your soul! I can see the demon in your eyes!"
Rita wasn't even trying to listen to him. She normally calls him, "Johnny", but when she was yelling his name, with the fake "crying", it sounded like she was saying, "Honey" or "Hunny".
She kept on saying, "Hunny, why? Why, Hunny? Where else am I gonna go, Hunny? You're trying to make me homeless, Hunny!"
Cory was pacing around the house & said, "Oh, shit! She's probably gonna be blood sacrificing somebody real soon, my nigga!" (Author's Note: Los Angeles people always say, "my nigga" after every sentence. The setting takes place in Pasadena, California.)
Johnny was in disbelief about her manipulation. He said, "Look, Rita. You can't have it both ways. It's either your husband or the cult! & I'm not stupid, so don't you sit up here & tell me you don't have anywhere else to live! Where were you on the nights that you didn't come home?"
Rita acted like she couldn't answer.
Cory called his cousin Kristina up. Chris's 1/2 sister. He told her what's going down. She made it over to the house faster than the paramedics could fly towards a patient dying of a heart attack.
Kristina came over, angry & yelling. She called her Aunt Rita every name in the book & cussed her from A to Z. She told her, "I told you not to make the same mistake that I made. Why would you WILLINGLY join Timberwood, ANYWAY, after being warned, you evil bitch!"
Rita tried to deflect. She said (pretending to be fake hyperventilating & fake out of breath), "So what, you were part of the cult, sleeping around, making all that money, so why are you mad at me? You're a piece of shit hypocrite!"
Kristina said, "Don't play stupid with me, hoe! You know EXACTLY what the fuck I'm talking about! I told you that I was young & didn't know what I was getting into. I didn't even join for the money. I joined, just to be with the man who's now my husband! I had NO idea that it was a cult or a scam. I thought it was just another job opportunity. I was tricked. I didn't realize how dangerous it was. You, on the other hand, have been warned! You're a wicked witch, & you're doing this for revenge. With your fake belief in God, you better repent, or else your soul will be sorry."
Rita was being stubborn, & she wasn't trying to allow Kristina, Johnny or Cory get through to her. Kristina & Cory applauded Johnny for telling Rita to pack her belongings & hit the road. He showed her the door. She left & never looked back.
Johnny went on about his life. Sadly, Rita chose the cult over her own husband. Her own family. Next thing you know, Johnny mysteriously ended up dead. Rita wasted NO time, selling all of his belongings to other cult members, while he was lying there, before the coroner was even called. What a dirty, evil bitch! One sick cult member, also named Johnny, made a joke about auctioning his remains, & then he got reprimanded. The cult pretends to stand up for what's right, only when they don't want to look bad in the eyes of the public.
Like usual, the cult tried to get involved in Johnny's funeral arrangements & tried to control both his funeral & burial. Kristina & Cory raised HELL! Chris saw what happened. It was too late. He tried to leave the cult, but he couldn't. He was trapped. He thought he was too good to turn his life over to Jesus Christ. He thought he was such a tough thug. He realized how weak he was. Unfortunately, he decided to stay in the cult. Living his best life. Some other cult members wanted to leave because of what happened. Only a few escaped.
Rita stayed in the cult until the cult required the fake COVID vaccines. Her dumb ass was twice vaxxed + boosted. She eventually died suddenly.
