The Elitist Perfection Cult

Timberwood: Short Stories Edition - Vol. 32

Remember. This short story series is a collection of fictional scenarios, EXPOSING how cults operate. I know so many people will probably get offended at this one, but oh well! The truth is offensive, even if there's a fictionalized depiction.

Melvin Mopkins, who looks like Waldo from Family Matters, was doing his usual, unpaid morning janitorial task, alongside his coworker, Charles St. Daniel, who looks just like Will Smith. Toby Sykes, their supervisor, who looks just like a mixture of the male version of RuPaul & Mariah Carey, got angry because Charles didn't clean the toilets very well. He never does. Melvin always does a thorough job with cleaning, yet never gets the credit he deserves. Melvin ought to be the supervisor.

Ironically, Toby's cleaning is almost as bad as Charles's. Toby likes to scapegoat Melvin & blame Melvin whenever Charles cleans the restrooms poorly. Toby is narcissistic & acts like he delusionally believes he's bigger, BETTER & higher than perfect! It's possible that Toby is jealous of Melvin, & it has something to do with them both being gay men. Maybe Toby has a secret crush on Melvin or wishes that he WAS Melvin. Toby is Biracial & colorist. The cult grooms their members to think this way. The cult also pushes their members to be bisexual &/or transgender.

Charles, on the other hand, is assumed to be straight, but he's a loner. He's always by himself. You never really see Charles with any friends or family around. You never see Charles socializing with other people. Some people think Charles is kind of mildly mentally off, slow & retarded or something. Like as if he ain't mentally got it all. Charles is partially hard of hearing.

When Toby lashed out on Melvin & falsely accused him of leaving too much mop water on the bathroom floor in the men's restroom, Kristina chimed in & said, "What's the big deal? The floor is gonna dry, anyway. Stop blaming everything Charles does on Melvin! Charles cleaned that bathroom, & it doesn't look bad at all! Stop trying to act perfect with everything!"

Danielle Sanders said, "Yep. Timberwood people are always running around hollerin' that nobody's perfect. & then when you make the most MINOR, correctable mistakes, they treat you like you committed blasphemy against the Holy Spirit or something. Big deal!"

Toby put his left hand on his hip & pointed with the index finger of his right hand, while yelling, "Since y'all wanna stick your noses where they don't belong, how about Y'ALL stick them in the toilets! C'mon! You & you!", while handing Kristina a mop & Danielle a sponge.

Kristina looked at him like he was crazy & said, "I ain't cleaning SHIT! I don't have to listen to you. You're not my boss. I have a WHOLE husband to submit to. Your power trip is laughable!"

Then, Toby got in Kristina's face & started yelling at her. He pushed her first. They got into a push & shove match, which led to her eventually pushing him SO HARD that he flew all the way on the polar opposite side of the room. & when he fell, he broke his ankle. Not sprained. Broke! Kristina wasn't playing! Kristina WILL fight a man! & kick his ass, too! Kristina didn't need her husband to step in & defend her. Toby cried like a bitch & threatened to press charges. Timberwood cult members fight all the time. It's an almost daily occurrence. If someone isn't breaking up a fight, then someone is always having to de-escalate an argument.

Danielle just stood there in shock & horror. She didn't want her friend to go to jail for self-defense. Some of the cult members who were hood, ghetto & thuggish, got angry & called Danielle "stupid", saying, "Why didn't you jump in? You were just standing up there like a zombie, looking like a big dummy! What kind of friend is that!?"

Kristina was HEAVILY out of breath with her face all red. She said, "Don't be so hard on her. Not everybody is a fighter. That's everyone's problem. Y'all revel in the constant chaos!"

Luckily, Kristina didn't go to jail. The cult members don't usually call the police for fights, anyway. They have their own special secret fake prison for those who righteously disobey or go against the cult.

An urgent mandatory meeting was called by Mrs. Mary Ethel. She told Kristina's husband, (Tharen's) cousin, Terrance Arcenaux to make an announcement on the loudspeaker. He refused. So, she got mad, grabbed him & locked him up in a small janitorial closet until after the meeting was over. It didn't really phase him. She tried to look for something that WOULD phase him & get him riled up.

Everyone was in the Timberwood gym, gossiping & chattering. Mrs. Mary Ethel had the CEO, Russell, to do a fake "stern" lecture on what he (from now on) expects from the cult members. He was making unrealistic, unreasonable demands. He was acting like a narcissistic & power-hungry megalomaniac. After his lecture, he selected 8 people to tell their opinions about his expectations. The 1st 7 people defended & agreed with him, trying to rationalize & make sense of his expectations. The 8th person (You gotta save the best for last), who's Tracie's younger sister, Trenise Rojas, got up & told the truth, the whole truth, & NOTHING BUT the truth. They treated her like she was testifying in court & lying under oath. They knew she was telling the truth & couldn't handle it.

Trenise talked about everything having to be so perfect, from a flawed, human perspective, rather than a godly perspective. The fake cult police handcuffed her & hauled her away before she could finish speaking her mind. Her 5-year old daughter, Trenaiyah, was crying hysterically. She was traumatized. Trenise was fighting & wrestling. She was crying & exclaiming, "No! No! Y'all can't do this to me! Y'all can't do this to me! I have a child to raise! Stop! No!" 8 football player sized men rough-handled her, wrestled her to the ground & handcuffed her like ACTUAL police brutality out in the streets in regular, normal society. They hauled her away, & she was gone to who knows where, for a very long time. Trenaiyah was hurt for days! Couldn't eat, sleep or do anything. She was depressed & always crying for her mom. No 5-year old should have to go through this.

The cult expects people to have a perfect, flawless physical appearance. They have to talk, look, walk, act & dress a certain way. Like militarized perfect little slave robots. 1 tiny little step out of line, & you get the HARSHEST discipline! 1 wrinkle in your pants, & that calls for STRICT disciplinary action. The cult leaders hypocritically piss, shit, fart, vomit, etc., but when the members/followers do it, they get reprimanded. Some members would have to sneak & poop in secret, hoping that no one would find out. They would even use air freshener to try to mask the odor of their bowel movements. They tried to remain undetected. The cult leaders manipulate the members to think they're too good to piss, shit & fart. Like they're not supposed to be doing such things.

One day, some years later, Kristina saw Trenise at a Publix grocery store. They chatted for a bit. They both collaborated together with writing a Tell-All Book. The Tell-All Book helped others be brave enough to come forward & tell their story. Everyone FINALLY got their justice, & there was a successful class action lawsuit.
