The Secret That Goes Viral

Timberwood: Short Stories Edition - Vol. 39

Many cults are well-known, but have you ever heard of a cult that wanted to keep their existence clandestine? Well, with Timberwood, you got the right one. Timberwood wants to keep their existence a secret because their deeds are so shameful that Ephesians 5:11-12 apply.

(Ephesians 5:11-12
King James Version
11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.)

Mr. Tharen, Sr., called for a meeting. Everything was just getting too out of hand. The Timberwood post-cult support group is there to make all of Timberwood's secret, wicked deeds publicly known. The group consists of former members who left the cult.

The post-cult support group members hold livestreams on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube & other platforms. People see them in the streets or at the park & look at them like they're crazy. (They don't care. They just want to get the truth out.) The former members are trying to spread the truth far & wide, so that others don't make the mistake of getting suckered into joining.

Without success, the former members have gone to news stations, gone to police, & sought lawyers, but were either ignored, dismissed, laughed at, or not believed. Timberwood, like other cults, are known to cover up their crimes. Many members suffer complex PTSD & end up with relationship & social issues.

After the meeting, Trenise did a regular post on her TikTok. Kristina HATES social media, & likes to remain private. She was at wit's end with her suffering, so she caved in & got her own TikTok account, for the sole purpose of exposing Timberwood. Kristina did a duet with Trenise's video, & it quickly went viral enough that it gained over a million views within 5 days. FINALLY, everyone's voice & cries for help were heard. Enough is enough!

The word got out, & there was nothing that the current & active members & leaders could do to stop it. They could no longer hide. Their shame was like that Scarlet Letter novel. They felt defeated. But sadly, the cult members were treated like, as if you exposed the wicked acts of a celebrity or a politician. Like, the cult is invincible, & the members are exempt from being brought to justice.

The only consequence was that less people joined, & more current members woke up to the truth & started leaving IN DROVES! Some of the recent members, who left after this ordeal, rejoiced; like as if the chains/shackles of slavery were broken. They huddled together & put their cash all in 1 big pile. Sort of the same way, like this scripture:

Acts 19:19

“Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver.”

King James Version (KJV)

Except for, they donated the money to the poor, homeless & less fortunate, instead of burning it. They had some kind of protest or rally going on, & during the rally, some of the members acted as if they were even trying to donate the keys to their cars. They wanted to give away all of the material possessions that they gained while in the cult. They realized that it's not worth their souls.
