Sawyer walked into the kitchen to get breakfast. His sister, Paisley, was sleeping on the couch in the living room. She overheard a brand new cereal box being opened. She was startled out of a bad dream about being chased by a roaring lion. That same lion that she saw on the National Geographic TV show the night before.
Paisley stormed into the kitchen & climbed onto the barstool. She told Sawyer, "I thought that a roaring lion was up in here for a bit. I had to snap back into reality & acknowledge that it was only a dream."
Sawyer also climbed onto the barstool with a nickel, & he told her, "This is MY favorite cereal that I bought with my allowance for helping Uncle Blaine cut grass. The only way you can have some, is if you flip this nickel on TAILS."
She flipped the nickel, & the nickel landed on tails. When she got excited, he told her, "Not so fast."
She was like, "What do you mean?"
He tried to gaslight her & tell her that it was on heads. She caught on to his scheme, & then she started to cry. She called him a cheater & a liar.
He told her, "Aww, so you wanna cry. Huh? Well. You get the last pack of plain blueberry pop tarts to eat."
She said, "Nobody eats that! Come on! Quit playing with my mind!"
He started pouring the new flavor of dulce de leche Cheerios into his bowl, along with the milk. After that, he started unnecessarily stirring the cereal & milk into his bowl, trying to antagonize her. He was laughing, & then she started whining & crying some more.
Their older brother, Easton, came into the kitchen & told the younger 2, "I heard the ENTIRE conversation. Give her some of your cereal NOW, or I will fix her something better."
Paisley told him, "I'm about to give her some cereal. I was just joking."
He responded, "I have an even BETTER joke!"
Easton confiscated the cereal from Sawyer & started fixing himself a bowl. & then, he gave Sawyer the last pack of blueberry pop tarts that was in the box. He MADE Sawyer eat it. Sawyer started whining & crying.
After Easton ate 4 bowls of cereal, rubbing it in Sawyer's face, he made Paisley a dulce de leche french toast breakfast with eggs, sausage & pomegranate juice. Sawyer learned to never tease his baby sister again.
The next morning, Paisley tried the dulce de leche Cheerios & enjoyed every morsel, while Sawyer ate Raisin Bran & skim milk.
