Better Than Fancy

There's a man, named Brian Lucas. A retired former Marine Veteran. He did over 25 years of service. He wears his Semper Fi ring everywhere he goes. He's known around the neighborhood & at church to be an arrogant snob. Some people consider him to be a religious narcissist who thinks he's better than everyone & above God. Do you wanna know why? He's also a freemason.

Was it his upbringing or his military experience that got him like this? Was he severely neglected as a child, or was he spoiled & always got everything he wanted? Come to find out, the latter is true.

He seems so perfect that you can't find any flaws with him. Like as if he doesn't make any mistakes. Yet, he shuns people & dishes out HARSH punishment for their mistakes & flaws. 1 wrinkle in your clothes, & you will be the talk of the town. You drop a pie of ice, you'll NEVER hear the end of it. People say that they feel sorry for his wife, children & grandchildren.

He's VERY demanding & controlling. People respect, fear & honor him. He's untouchable. He treats everyone around him like a maid or a servant. He always talks about what he EXPECTS, out of everyone. Some people secretly nickname him, "Soul Crusher", because the way he treats people has caused them to end up with mental health issues.

He tries SO hard to keep up with the facade of perfection. He delusionally believes he's the epitome of perfection. His clothes always have to be the newest, the neatest & the sharpest. Ironed & pressed. When he eats, he expects & demands for his food to look a certain way on his plate. He expects for you to walk a certain way & talk a certain way. He goes to the barbershop faithfully every Monday. He washes, waxes & polishes his luxury car & his designer shoes seemingly every day. He acts like he's dressing for success & always trying to impress. He prides himself on always smelling good & looking really nice. Some people mistakenly think he has OCD. He thinks he's fresher than a newborn.

He's always rich, living the high life. He believes in keeping his wife pregnant. Not barefoot & pregnant, because he thinks it's nasty & unsanitary to be barefoot. People think he treats his wife like a slave. You can see the seemingly permanent fearful & sad look on her face. He expects for the house to be kept clean & dinner ready every evening, after he comes back home from his mentorship side hustle, where he has his own boot camp business, mentoring out of control, troubled teens. But who's going to put HIM in check, though?

One day, Brian fell ill. He was disappointed because he always prided himself on never getting sick. He realized that he wasn't so invincible, after all. He thought he was immortal. It was his time to go. & he will be judged the same way that he judged fellow Christians. & we all know that you can't be a real Christian & be a freemason at the same time.

RIP Brian Lucas. Semper Fi.

THE END
