Timberwood: Short Stories Edition - Vol. 46
I, Nola Bordelon, was temporarily staying at 1 of the Timberwood cult communal houses. The cult wishes to be fancy like Hollywood, so there are 2 elevators in this luxury, fancy house. This is another tactic that they use to attract members. *AHEM!* (slaves). It was a 3-story, large house with both an indoor pool & jacuzzi + also an outdoor pool & jacuzzi. The indoor pool & jacuzzi, a laundry room, an indoor gym room with both a tennis court & a basketball court, a massage room, a sauna & a steam room & also 5 bathrooms were located on the 1st floor. The 2nd floor had stairs & elevators, a living room, a kitchen, a dining room, 5 bedrooms + a master bedroom in 1 of the rooms, a pet room (a room for 12 cats & 17 dogs & any pet/animal that you want), & the 3rd floor had just stair & elevator entrance & 10 bedrooms. No one was allowed to be in the master bedroom except for the house leader couple, which for this particular house is Denise Sanders & Scott Radner. Well, everyone else had to go all the way downstairs to use the restroom. With this house, everyone is allowed to swim year-round. & people think it's neat that there's a special futuristic technology used, where the elevators NEVER break or go out of service. The elevators NEVER failed the house yet. The housemates would often joke about living IN STYLE if there was an escalator, too. Well, shikes! Aren't we living "in style" enough?
With the cult communal housing, it was weird because it reminded me of a kiddie daycare, a homeless shelter, a mental hospital, jail & an old folks home, ALL rolled in 1. Yet, we were all surrounded by the appearance of "luxury". Nice cars, SUV's, trucks, vans, Jeeps, etc. in a garage that looked SO big that you would've thought it was a public downtown garage or something. But there were so many people in the house that you would've thought you were at a zoo. Some people describe the place to be similar to a concentration camp. You never got any privacy. They tried to cram as many bunk beds & dressers in each bedroom, that they could fit in there. & the more people in there, the more money to be made.
Denise was kind of ghetto & messy, but Scott was immature & goofy. Of course, the house leaders had people to oversee them. More like, having fake cult bosses & supervisors/managers. Because Denise & Scott had the personalities that they did (for the cult), everyone wanted to come stay here because they think it's so fun. But it's so chaotic because of so much noise. Because Tracie Jordan is former military (Navy), people complain about her being too mean, too strict, too stuck up, has a foul attitude, etc. But her partner, Kelvin Banks AKA "Garfield" is goofy like Scott. Scott & Garfield went to school together.
If you were in the IHM (In-House Monitoring) program like me, you were on the 2nd floor. Everyone else stayed on the 3rd floor. With the IHM program, people like me are closely watched 24/7. I couldn't even sleep , eat, potty or shower alone. Someone was always there to closely monitor my EVERY move & then report back to the cult leaders at the top. What do they think I'm going to do? Why am I dangerous or a threat to them?
I have a problem with control & abuse, so that's why the cult leaders nicknamed me, "Mrs. Whine Face". The members & workers think that I'm too negative, energy-draining & complain too much. It's not that. I'm 1 of the cult whistleblowers, & they don't like that. The only thing is, I feel trapped & don't know how to get out.
I had to be roommates with Veronica, Sarah, Jessica, Mrs. Jackie, Mrs. Marielena, Brian Lucas's falsely accused "mentally ill" ex-wife Antoinette, Tracie's sister Trenise, Denise's sister Danielle & Lymethia Hunter. There was 10 of us in the room. 1/2 of the women, I was able to get along with, & the other 1/2 were a problem. The biggest BULLY was the oldest. A real life troll! Mrs. Marielena. Freddy Griffin's mother from El Salvador. Freddy also went to school with Scott & Garfield.
Timberwood is evil for this. They would do stuff, like, DELIBERATELY putting me in predicaments where they KNOW I would be unhappy, so that I could "complain". If I say, "I don't want to sleep on the same bunk bed as Mrs. Marielena!", I would get mocked, & the members would say, "I don't want to sleep with anyone. I want the ENTIRE bunk to myself, darn it!" If I say, "Eww, I hate yogurt!" They would mockingly say, "Eww, I hate yogurt, darn it!" They would put "Darn it!" at the end of every sentence if I expressed my dislike for something.
One day, Mr. Tim & the Latin boys complained about me taking too long in the shower. I got into an argument with them because Cassandra was told to accompany me & watch me. She also was rushing me. When I said, "Well, how come it's OK for everyone to complain about me, but I can't make any complaints about anyone?" Lo & behold, I was treated like a preschooler, & Tracie forced me to go into "timeout" in the pet room. (I guess, as a dehumanization tactic) Why would there be a chair & a desk in a room with nothing but animals? & I was forced to "think about disrespecting the house" & write the phrase "Darn it!" on a 5-subject college ruled notebook, as fast as I can, & fill up each line. No mistakes or erasures allowed. She gave me an unreasonable 45-minute time limit. Well, of course I didn't successfully do everything right or on time, so I was forced to have to clean up all the bathrooms as punishment for 3 months. They wanted to "teach me a lesson" to keep my mouth shut & not be such a "troublemaker". Well, they didn't succeed with that, so they would send people to harass & torment me & never give me any peace. One day, no one was at the house, & the house got demolished. It was another house that was meant to be demolished, but the demolition men accidentally got the wrong house. That house was EVERYBODY'S baby! So many people had emotional meltdowns because the house no longer existed.
Some of the people in the neighborhood said that they were on to Timberwood's wicked ways. They were whispering amongst each other, saying stuff like, "Every dog has its day." "Timberwood got their karma." "Nola, you got the last laugh. They were wrong for how they treated you & everyone else." The other houses were too full to accept any of us. I ended up back on the streets, & another former cult member, actually named Ronald McDonald, informed me that Timberwood is a cult. He ended up homeless, as well, lost everything & turned to Jesus Christ. We were able to leave the cult, keep our souls & never sell out. Quite a few others joined us, & Timberwood couldn't believe that they were losing members because people were waking up to the truth.
