Learning Old School Games

Hello, everyone. I'm about to show y'all a VERY short story.

On 1 Fall afternoon in 2025, Brooke, Nina, Paige & Grace, who are 4 girls in the 6th grade, came together to play. It was Nina's idea for them to go to the park after school. Nina's dad, Gavin, brought some chalk for hopscotch, some jump ropes, hula hoops, skates & a tether ball/pole. He taught them how to play games.

The games brought back old, nostalgic childhood memories. He had flashbacks worthy of a thousand smiles. He was impressed that the girls were fast learners.

Some of the other park attendees were astonished. Some of the kids wondered why their parents never taught them those fun games. They joined in & learned. They had the most fun they've ever had in their ENTIRE lives! No social media that evening!

Gavin also surprised everyone at the park with old candy from back in the day. Not even Halloween candy, either. He gave everyone some Airheads, Now & Later's, Laffy Taffy's Mike & Ike's, Chick O' Sticks, Boston Baked Beans, Fun Dip & also some cigarette candy.

He came up with an idea to start up a neighborhood club, called "Nostalgia Night", where everyone would take a break from social media on every 2nd Friday night of the month & meet up at the park with 80's & 90's memories. They went viral, & it made national news. The children of 2025 realized how much they were missing out, by not being born back then. They wanted to bring back the 80's & 90's.

THE END
