I came up with the title & idea for this topic on May 27, 2025.
Raynell Washington & his baby momma, Shelita Ames, have been dating for 2 & 1/2 years, off & on. Shelita has 2 kids for him, & also another baby on the way. Her family members, especially her sisters & female cousins, think she's stupid for repeatedly taking Raynell back. Her parents think that Shelita can't leave him because of ungodly soul ties. They think that Raynell has her in his own personal little 1-on-1 cult.
Shelita & Raynell have tried going to a therapist, they tried going to see a shrink. Hell! They even tried going on a national TV talk show. Nothing worked.
Raynell is abusive & controlling, yet he wants society to falsely believe that something is mentally wrong with Shelita.
Raynell would try to falsely convince Shelita that SHE'S the one who's demon-possessed & needs prayer. One Sunday, he gave her a physical rude awakening. He aggressively woke her up & scared her out of her sleep. He had her clothes laid out on the bed & breakfast on the table. The 2 living babies were crying because of being scared of him yelling at her. She was still tired, so she drifted off back to sleep.
Raynell came back & opened the door again, & he banged on it really hard. & then he started yelling at her again. Shelita started crying, Why do you keep doing this to me?" Keep in mind. She's 8 months pregnant. The kids started back up, crying again.
He toned his voice down some, & told her, "Look! We can either play fair or fight dirty. It's YOUR choice! Now, GET UP, GET your COLD breakfast, GET DRESSED, & come on. You need some holiness in your life! God is NOT playing with you today! You never know if today might be the day of your last breath. What if you don't wake up tomorrow?"
Before Shelita began to question his fear mongering, he screamed from the top of his lungs & said, "No! No! No! No! No! I don't wanna hear it! Now, YOU listen to me!"
Good thing Shelita's dad came knocking on the door. He overheard the yelling & abuse for the 1st time, for himself, with his own ears. He heard the kids crying. Raynell punked out & wasn't so big & bad when Shelita's dad confronted him. He rescued Shelita & the 2 kids, gathered all of their belongings & left Raynell to himself. Raynell was helpless.
In the truck, Shelita's dad, Mr. George Ames, said, "Talk to me babygirl. Tell it all! You don't have to be scared."
Shelita told her dad what happened. Her dad saved her from losing her life to Raynell. He had planned to do her in & take her life that morning. Shelita's eyes were opened, & now she will never take Raynell back. Raynell was even court ordered to stay away from her & the kids.
